FAQ
Before you install.
Will Early still ring if I close the app?
Yes. Alarm scheduling runs natively on Android, so ringing does not depend on the Flutter interface staying open. Force-stopping Early clears scheduled alarms until you open the app again — an Android platform limit we do not claim to bypass.
What permissions does Early need?
Exact alarms and notification access support reliable ringing. Optional permissions only unlock features you choose: camera and activity recognition power specific tasks, while the Uninstall safeguard can use Android Device Administrator with no lock, wipe, password, or other device-control policies. Live radio needs internet only — Early does not use the microphone.
Is the core alarm free?
Yes. Setting and dismissing alarms with free tasks (Memory and Compass) stays free. Premium adds more demanding proofs, travel tools, and extras; prices and billing live on Google Play.
How do I cancel Premium?
Manage or cancel the subscription in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions. Early does not bill you on-site.
Does Early sell my data or show ads?
No. There are no ads and no sale or rental of personal data. Schedules and wake data stay on your device. Optional crash reports are opt-in and stay off until you enable them in Settings → About; see Privacy for details.
